Essential Oil Basics

Which Essential Oils To Use?

For years I’ve used Essential Oils from Whole Foods or other health food stores. I thought 100% pure meant 100% pure. When I found out I was pregnant I did tons of research on how to use Essential Oils for healing. I had no idea what I would find!! I was using Essential Oils full of CHEMICALS!! You can learn more about that here. After doing tons of research, I decided to go with Young Living Essential Oils. When it comes to essential oils, Young Living sets the standard for purity and authenticity. Young Living carefully monitors the production of oils from beginning to end through their unique Seed to Seal® process, ensuring the purity of each essential oil and protecting nature’s living energy in every bottle. Their essential oils are 100% therapeutic grade, effective and safe. I also loved that Young Living offers an affordable starter kit with 10 every-day oils and  a diffuser.

What do I do with Essential Oils?

When I first starting using Essential Oils five years ago, I used Bergamot oil for my uneven skin as recommended by my esthetician. Since then, I followed many helpful blogs from other natural mamas and purchased a handy quick-guide which really kickstarted my journey into using Essential Oils for their awesome health benefits. So far, I’ve used them for colds, aches and pains, upset stomach, blotchy skin, allergies, poison ivy, snoring issues, sore throats, stress relief, deeper sleep, household cleaning supplies, and overall household aroma. More info on how to ACTUALLY use Essential Oils here.
